An update

This morning the twins had their 4 month check up and the Doc can't believe how well the babies are doing. She was amazed at their head control, their fat cheeks and development mostly because they were 6 weeks early.

Sienna is 10 lbs 4 oz. She giggles and makes sweet baby sounds all the time. She is such a chill baby. She's always happy and very easy going. Her cheeks are overflowing and she's getting thick all over. I just love fat babies!

Briley is 9 lbs 12 oz. She is also all giggles and smiles, we like to call her Smiley Briley! She's the most vocal of the two but still very easy going. She loves to sit up in the Bumbo (best invention EVER!) and be a part of the action.

Liza is a pistol! My great grandmother would've said that she is full of spit and vinegar. We've begun the "terrible two's". With the boys it was the 3's that was hard but Liza is developing her Independence already. She knows what she wants and wants it now. She's talking so much more than she was even in December. Seems that she's picking up new words everyday. She is a great big sister and loves to hug and kiss her babies and is quick to notify us when they are crying. Her smile melts our hearts and makes all the naughty things she does justifiable. Her new one is when she gets into trouble and we scold her she bows her head in shame and hides, but then shortly after this she looks you dead in the eye and plugs her ears. Barry and I both have to turn our heads and laugh. It really is cute, in a naughty kind of way.

Payton has an imagination that is never ending. He looks up to Jared and wants to be like him in every way. He is also a homebody. He'd rather just hang out at home in sweats than go anywhere. He loves to help, only if he hasn't been asked to. He's looking forward to going to Kindergarten and I think I'm just as excited about it too. He loves to draw and and is very methodical about it and it shows. His artistic ability is really blooming.

Jared is a whizz kid! He's 7 going on 32. He is always worried about others and how he can help. Sometimes this is actually a distraction to the task at hand, but a great attribute for a 7 year old. He is reading at a 3rd grade level and comprehending it too. He's learning to be a good worker and loves to serve others. It snowed yesterday so I went out and shoveled and he was so upset that he didn't get to help. He also loves to draw and is exceptional at it. He is gaining a testimony of the Savior and is looking forward to his baptism is September.

Barry and I are so grateful for these sweet kids and feel so blessed to have them in our home. They are each challenging in their own rite but are all wonderful kids. I never thought I'd be a mother of 5 but I'm loving every minute of it. I'm proud to say they are mine.
