Yesterday was Payton's 4th birthday. He had a great day. Jared let him pick all the cartoons he wanted to watch in the morning, which is a real sacrifice for Jared. The boys both got haircuts. For lunch we met Barry at Chick-fil-a and Payton had a blast there. After lunch he went to football practice with Barry and helped coach and clean up the footballs and tackle pads. When they got home Payton opened his presents. He got the game Ant in the Pants, two tee-shirts, and a Hot Wheels trick track. We then went to dinner at On the Border and went bowling. We had a great day.
I can't believe how fast time goes. I say this every time a milestone is reached with my kids but seriously, I can't believe it. Payton is such a fun kid. He is funny and compassionate. His personality is awesome. He loves Jared so much and loves to be reunited after they've been apart. He is so sweet to Liza and loves to give her hugs and kisses even if she is unwilling to receive them.

Wow, it's already been 4 years? It seems like I was just holding his tiny little newborn self in Relief Society. Happy Birthday, Payton!
