I've tried in vain to get our little Liza to eat the food that we eat but she still isn't cooperating. She loves the Gerber food. I've pureed dinner and she won't eat it. I hate that she will only eat the bottled food. What's with her? I guess I shouldn't complain too much because at least she is finally eating solids. Before it was a fight just to get her to open her mouth. Barry's solution is that we shouldn't give her a choice and just force her to eat our food. To me it's not really worth the tears. I know it's tons cheaper but maybe it's worth it in the long run.
The other fun battle is getting her to keep her head still as I shove the spoon in her mouth. She loves to "help" and that makes quite a mess too. She's had food in her hair, mostly because it's on her hands and then she rubs them in her hair. Lovely. I'm usually prepared with a washcloth to quickly wipe up.
My next adventure is to try to get her to eat instant oatmeal with apples in it. She loves the Gerber oatmeal so maybe I need to try a different approach. We'll see.

This is after some nasty "Turkey dinner". The smell of this food gives my gag reflex a workout!
