I have been trying in vain to get Liza to eat food but she smushes up her face when I give applesauce and pears. She will only occasionally eat carrots but only when she wants to. When Payton was ready to start eating food I would blend everything we ate and he scarfed it all down, which is why I think that he's such a good eater now. He's my little garbage can when it comes to food. So I succumbed to gerber food today and tried a jar of macaroni and cheese. She loved it! She ended up eating half a jar. I couldn't believe it! Since she was loving it so much I decided that it must taste great so I decided to try a bit myself. Holy moly that stuff tastes like crap! Her tastes buds suck. Regardless of my preference, she ate it. Hopefully she will continue to cooperate with me and eat more varieties of food. I'm still bound and determined to blend our dinners to get her accustomed to our food. Wish me luck.
On a non food related topic, a Bishopric member came to our house this morning to talk to Barry and me. Barry serves in the stake young men's presidency so he's pretty much untouchable in the ward. I've been serving as the ward music chairperson and lead the music in sacrament. Well, tomorrow things will be a bit different for me. I've been asked to serve in the primary presidency as the secretary. I will continue to lead the music for a couple more weeks until they find someone to replace me.
Payton and I will be going to our first day of primary tomorrow. Payton is a sunbeam! I can't believe he's out of nursery. He's growing so fast. I'm excited to be serving in the primary and look forward to the change and a growing experience. Wish me luck on that one too!

So funny you mentioned Liza loving macaroni and cheese because that was always Chloe's favorite! I remember one day when she was 9 or 10 months when she ate 9 jars (stage 2) in one day!! Props to you for trying it - I never had the courage.
And how fun that you've been called into Primary! Payton will love having you there, and I'm sure it will be a nice change for you. Good luck!
Good Luck with Primary. You will be a great secretaty. I haven't seen you forever, you pictures are so cute and I can't believe how big your kids are getting.
As for books... I really haven't been reading much lately. I am trying to get some projects done around the house before some of my family comes to visit. Jill has "Nanny Diaries" and maybe some other books of mine you can borrow.
