Today our friends Jared and Alicia Welch called and needed some help cutting down a tree. This was a 30 year old tree roughly 25 feet tall. Their tree has been a nuisance to them recently mostly because random branches have been dying. Barry was so excited for the opportunity to do some real labor. He loves stuff like this mostly because he got to use a chainsaw. Jared and Barry had a great time working and Alicia and I had a great time laughing and watching this completely unprofessional duo get the job done. Jared was able to climb the tree to get on top of the roof, they worked without a ladder, and then he tied a rope to the tree and Barry was the anchor and pulled as Jared sawed.

Barry looks so tough with that chainsaw. My favorite is of him climbing onto the roof. It would have been an especially flattering picture if Jared had taken it from where he was standing. Haha.
