After a devastating blow last week losing 41-0 we recovered and beat Liberty HS 31-15 last night. Last week was embarrassing to say the least, no post necessary.
The weather was unexpected last night with a blistery wind blowing. We ended up leaving at half time, which I never do, but it was too blasted cold to stick it out. Jared stayed and got a ride home from another coach that lives out near us. Liza and Payton were fortunately bundled up in the stroller and asleep. When we got home Payton and I drank hot cocoa and he watched a movie while I took a hot bath. I was so cold that it didn't even warm me up.
Only 3 more games in regular season to go. Our chances of playoffs is slim seeing how we have to win out and our last game is against a really tough team. The bonus check at the end of January is much appreciated after playoffs are over. Even one week would be nice.
