Today is Jared's 7th birthday. He woke up with a big smile on his face and was excited to see a few of his presents. Payton got him some cars and Barry's cousin Lee gave hime some Legos. Jared is way into Legos these days.
He took football cookies to school today for his class and last night I finished decorating his cake. We will go into the high school at 4 today to celebrate with Barry before the big game.
Here is Jared's cake. I thought that it turned out great. He loves the Denver Broncos so it was either this or a Kadet cake. We have entirely too much Kadet stuff around this place so this was a nice change. We're all excited to dig in tonight with Barry.
I'll update more birthday festivities later as Jared is at school right now and nothing exciting is happening yet.
