The Kadets recovered from their loss last week against Pueblo South and came out ready to beat Mesa Ridge. We won 42-13 making our record 8-1. Nobody can remember Air Academy football having this good of a record in years. We have one more game next Friday and hopefully we can win that one too and have a great seed for the playoffs.
The most exciting part last night that I've been waiting for all season is that Jared made the news! All three news stations were there and he finally got on TV. Jared has gotten quite a bit of celebrity status since becoming the waterboy. When we were leaving the game last night a bunch of the kids and their parents were cheering for Jared and telling him how awesome he does. The announcer even had the crowd yell for Jared again!
